Shane Reid

Shane Reid has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Shane is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Semler Scientific since July 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Vice President of Technology and Vice President of Technology at Semler Scientific from April 2022 to July 2023 and from November 2020 to April 2022, respectively. Before joining Semler Scientific, Shane worked at ZOLL Data as the Director of Software Engineering from March 2012 to April 2019, where they played a crucial role in the development and maintenance of enterprise and cloud-based software for the healthcare and medical device markets. Shane also had prior roles at ZOLL Medical Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer/Program Manager from 2006 to 2011. Shane's earlier experiences include being a Paramedic at Various companies from 2000 to 2006, a Senior Program Manager at 3DFX INTERACTIVE INC from 1998 to 2000, and a Co-owner/VP Product & Sales/Software Engineering at Fairplay Technologies from 1997 to 1998. Shane began their career as a Software Engineer at Hewlett Packard Enterprise from 1992 to 1997.

Shane Reid attended Colorado State University from 1984 to 1992, where they completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics. Shane then pursued further education at the same institution from 1988 to 1992 and obtained a Master's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science, focusing on coursework.
