Dimitar Bogatinov serves as the Head of the Cyber Security & Digital Forensics Department at the Military Academy “General Mihailo Apostolski” in Skopje since September 2009, focusing on cybersecurity, digital forensics, and privacy education. Additionally, Dimitar has held roles as a Project Manager for integrating digital learning into education curricula and as an Associate Professor, contributing to training personnel for the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia. Collaboration as a researcher in the Erasmus project "Predict" emphasizes humanitarian efforts in disaster risk reduction, while work as a Course Instructor at Semos Education provides insights in ethical hacking and secure computing. As a National Consultant for Digital Learning with the OSCE Mission to Skopje, involvement in building a hybrid education system underlines a commitment to software education. Academic pursuits include visiting professorships at the European University-Republic of Macedonia and a Ph.D. in Computer Science, complemented by research roles in NATO projects and initiatives focused on cybersecurity and crisis management.
