Requirements Consultant at SEMP

Mark Selkirk has extensive experience in the field of Systems Engineering and Requirements Management. Mark started their career at Atkins in 2005, where they worked as a Systems Engineer and later as a Requirements Manager until 2008. After that, they worked as a Requirements Consultant at various companies including London Underground, Thales, and Invensys Rail (now Siemens Rail Automation). In 2010, they joined Intelligent Energy as a Requirements Consultant, where they focused on hydrogen fuel cells for stationary power, consumer electronics, and automotive applications. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Systems Engineering Consultant at Bombardier Transportation. In 2015, they joined Network Rail as a Requirements Consultant before moving to Jacobs in 2016, where they provided requirements consultancy support to the Box Encapsulation Plant joint venture delivery team. In the same year, they also worked as a Requirements Consultant at SEMP Limited. Since 2009, Mark has been the owner of MSSE LTD, where they offer specialist Systems Engineering consultancy services to clients in industries such as Rail, Nuclear, Energy, Automotive, and Consumer Electronics.

Mark Selkirk attended Loughborough University from 1998 to 2003, where they earned a 2:1 MEng (Hons) degree in Systems Engineering.
