Cyber Security Engineer at Semper Valens Solutions

Daisia Gabriel has had two significant work experiences in the field of information security. Daisia first worked at Semper Valens Solutions as a Cyber Security Engineer from November 2018 to the present. In this role, they deployed patches, conducted regular system scans and audits, maintained a database for tracking trends and remedial actions, reviewed network infrastructure, and performed technical audits using DISA approved tools.

Prior to that, Daisia worked in the United States Army as an Information Systems Security Specialist from January 2008 to October 2017. In this role, they ensured the security of customer information systems by maintaining data availability, integrity, authentication, confidentiality, and non-repudiation. Daisia also evaluated security policies, provided recommendations to management, monitored the implementation of recommendations, and assessed policy and project feasibility.

Daisia Gabriel, CISM, holds a diverse educational background. Daisia pursued a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Maritime Law from the American Public University System, completing their studies from 2011 to 2014. Following that, they obtained a Master's degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from the same institution, studying from 2015 to 2017.

Continuing their educational journey, Daisia Gabriel enrolled at the University of Phoenix in 2018 and is expected to complete their Research Doctorate in Organizational/Information Systems and Technology, specifically a Doctor of Management, in 2022.

Additionally, they have acquired various certifications to enhance their expertise. In 2021, they obtained the Security+ certification from CompTIA. Furthermore, they completed the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification offered by ISACA in March 2023.
