Roy Bergsma

Roy Bergsma is an experienced professional in renewable energy project management, currently serving as the Technology and Asset Manager at SemperPower since May 2023, focusing on large-scale battery energy storage systems. Prior to this role, Roy held various positions at BLIX Consultancy from September 2018 to May 2023, including Senior Consultant and Project Manager for wind energy projects, both onshore and offshore. Roy's previous experience includes roles at Shell as an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor, Siemens Wind Power as a Graduate Intern researching offshore floating wind turbines, and various engineering positions in different organizations. Roy holds a Master of Science in Offshore Engineering from Delft University of Technology and has a background in Philosophy and Civil Engineering, showcasing a multidisciplinary educational foundation.
