Joe Militello

Joe Militello is an experienced human resources leader and advisor, currently serving as an Advisory Board Member at Syndio and an HR Venture Advisor at SemperVirens Venture Capital since June 2023. Joe has been a Senior Faculty Member at Josh Bersin Academy since January 2020 and held the position of Chief People Officer at PagerDuty until May 2024, as well as at Pivotal Software, Inc. from January 2013 to December 2019. Prior to that, Joe worked at EMC from 2000 to January 2013, advancing from Senior Director to VP of Human Resources for the Greenplum Division. Joe's career began as a Captain in the US Marine Corps, where operational planning and training were key responsibilities. Joe holds an MBA and an MSF in Finance from Boston College Carroll School of Management, a BS in Finance from Fairfield University, and completed the Stanford Directors' College in 2021.
