Katie Watson

Katie Watson is a seasoned Human Resources Executive with extensive experience in scaling organizations and driving employee engagement. From 2004 to 2010, Katie served in various leadership roles at Gilead Sciences, culminating as EVP Human Resources, where they played a pivotal role in growing the workforce from 1,000 to 12,000 employees. Currently, Katie is the Chief Human Resources Officer at Western Digital and an Advisory Board Member at SemperVirens Venture Capital, advising startups on organizational growth and talent development. Katie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UC San Diego and a Master's degree in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University.
