Brett Durand has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 1998, they worked in product development at SNL Financial until 1999. Brett then joined Fidelity Investments as eBusiness Development from 1999 to 2001. After that, Brett worked at Fish & Neave (now Ropes & Gray) as an Associate/Advisor, providing intellectual property consulting services to Fortune 500 companies. In 2004, they joined Pfizer as a Sr. Manager in Internal Audit, overseeing global project teams for internal audits. Brett later held positions at Pfizer as Director of Legal & Compliance Technology, Director of Legal Discovery Operations, and Sr. Director of Information Governance. most recently, Brett joined Sempra in 2016 as the Director of Legal Operations.
Brett Durand earned a Certificate in Advanced eDiscovery Institute from Georgetown University Law Center in 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a JD in Law from Brooklyn Law School, which they attended from 2001 to 2006. Before entering law school, Brett completed an MBA in Finance and an MS in Information Systems at the Questrom School of Business, Boston University, both achieved between 1999 and 2001. Brett began their academic journey by earning a BS in Economics & Philosophy from James Madison University, which they completed from 1995 to 1998.
