Jim Hinton

Jim Hinton is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in corporate and national security roles. Currently serving as Corporate Security Manager and International Security & Executive Services Manager at Sempra since July 2022, Jim previously held the position of Manager for Corporate Security Services at DoorDash. A significant part of Jim's career was spent with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS), where leadership positions included Special Agent and Supervisor, overseeing various intelligence and tactical training operations. Earlier roles include Federal Air Marshal and Border Patrol Agent, contributing to a strong foundation in security and intelligence operations. Jim holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from the University of Miami, earned between 1993 and 1997.
