Abhi Utturkar Pe

Abhi Utturkar, PE has over 20 years of experience in engineering, specializing in vessels and tanks. Abhi is currently working as the Chief Engineer for Vessels & Tanks at Sempra Infrastructure since 2023.

Prior to Sempra Infrastructure, Abhi worked at Kiewit from 2020 to 2023 as the Chief Engineer for Specialty Vessels & Tanks. In this role, they were responsible for asset integrity, safety evaluation, risk mitigation, code compliance verification, and design review. Abhi also provided support for project management and business development, prepared training materials, and conducted vendor evaluations.

From 2005 to 2020, Abhi worked at Matrix PDM Engineering, where they held various roles including Manager for the Specialty Vessels Business Unit and Senior Engineer for Project & Design. Abhi'sresponsibilities included managing daily engineering activities, providing technical support to customers, reviewing and checking designs, and managing projects.

Abhi also has experience from their time at Capricorn Inc as a Structural Analysis Engineer and at Mahindra & Mahindra as an Engineer.

Abhi holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University, where they also worked as a Research/Teaching Assistant. During their time at the university, they conducted research on permeability modeling and taught machining methods to undergraduate engineering students.

Abhi Utturkar, PE has a strong educational background in Mechanical Engineering. Abhi obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Subsequently, they pursued their Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University from 2002 to 2005.
