Carlos A. Flores

Carlos A. Flores has extensive experience in management and strategic planning, particularly within the energy sector. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Social Performance & Communications at Sempra LNG & Net Zero Solutions since August 2019, Carlos has held various positions at Sempra LNG since November 2012, including Project Development Manager and Administration & Planning Manager. Prior to these roles, Carlos contributed to the development and operational phases of the Energia Costa Azul LNG project and served as a Sustainable Development Advisor for Sempra Energy International Services. Carlos’s career includes significant roles in social investment and program management at PETRÓLEOS DE VENEZUELA and its affiliate Lagoven, where Carlos A. was instrumental in creating and managing social investment departments. Carlos holds advanced degrees in Business Administration and Planning and Development Studies from the University of Southern California, along with an Urban Planner degree from Universidad Nacional Experimental Simón Bolívar.
