Lars Carlson

Lars Carlson began their work experience in 2007 as a Senior Associate at Latham & Watkins LLP, specializing in project finance transactions and complex debt instruments. Lars then joined Sempra Energy in 2013, working as a Senior Counsel in the Corporate division until 2015. Larson continued their legal career at Sempra International as a Senior Counsel from 2015 to 2016, and then at Sempra Global Infrastructure, LLC as a Senior Counsel from 2017 to 2020. Larson's most recent position was with Sempra Infrastructure, where they served as an Assistant General Counsel for LNG & Project Development from 2020 to 2023 and was then promoted to Vice President - Project Development in 2023.

Lars Carlson completed their undergraduate education at Loyola High School of Los Angeles from 1986 to 1990. Following that, they attended Georgetown University Walsh School of Foreign Service from 1990 to 1994, earning a degree in Foreign Service (B.S.F.S.). During their time at Georgetown, Lars also took part in a Junior Year Abroad program at Université Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris, France from 1992 to 1993. Later, Lars pursued a law degree at the University of Michigan Law School from 2004 to 2006, specializing in International and Comparative Law (JD).
