Alex Sukennik

Alex Sukennik is the current Chief Information Officer at Semrush. Prior to joining Semrush, Alex was the Chief Information Officer at Avid from March 2018 to March 2022. In this role, Alex was responsible for Enterprise Applications, Security, E-commerce, Digital Platform Enablement, Infrastructure, Enterprise Data and BI. Prior to Avid, Alex was the Founder/CEO of SaaSLicense from September 2017 to October 2020. SaaSLicense was acquired by Apptio, Inc. in October 2020. Prior to SaaSLicense, Alex worked at Aqueduct Technologies, Inc., Oort, PlaneAhead, and Council, Inc.

Alex Sukennik has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Northeastern University. Alex's field is business administration and management, with a focus on MIS and marketing.
