Andrei Makhliarchuk

Andrei Makhliarchuk has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and robotics engineering. Andrei joined Semrush in 2023 as a Data Scientist. Prior to that, they worked at SberDevices from 2021 to 2023 as a Data Scientist (R&D), where they created HaGRID - Hand Gesture Recognition Image Dataset. From 2020 to 2021, they were a Data Scientist at Sberbank, where they contributed to risk and modeling research, improved the Gini metric by 0.3 points, and reduced communication costs. Andrei also has experience as a Robotics Software Engineer at the Institute of Marine Technology Problems FEB RAS from 2017 to 2020. In this role, they developed a training pipeline for detecting underwater objects and achieved notable results at international robotics competitions.

Andrei Makhliarchuk obtained a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from Far Eastern Federal University from 2014 to 2018. Andrei then pursued further education at the same institution and completed a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from 2018 to 2020.
