Miguel Nery is a Robotics Specialist II at SENAI CIMATEC since April 2022, with prior experience as a Software Analyst at Instituto de Pesquisas Eldorado where strategies for controlling a robotic arm using the ROS framework were developed. Between December 2019 and September 2021, Miguel Nery contributed to the Subsea Autonomous Operations project, focusing on automation and robotic systems for subsea inspection in the Oil & Gas industry. As a Robotics Researcher at SENAI CIMATEC, Miguel Nery designed and constructed the JeRoTIMON manipulator aimed at visual marker recognition and later integrated it with the Warthog unmanned ground vehicle for bomb disarming tasks. Miguel Nery is currently pursuing a Doctor's Degree in Computational Modeling and Industrial Technology at Centro Universitário SENAI CIMATEC, following a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidade Federal da Bahia and a Postgraduate Degree in Robotics and Autonomous Systems.
