Omer Malik is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in project financing and investment management. Since June 2021, Omer serves as the President and Founder of Sencap Partners Inc. Prior roles include Vice President of Project Financing for Infrastructure at Stonebridge Financial Corporation from April 2014 to May 2021, and Senior Director of Project Finance for Private Fixed Income at Sun Life Investment Management from 2009 to 2014, where management of a $1 billion portfolio in power and infrastructure/PPP private debt investments was a key responsibility. Omer has also held positions at DBRS, Rabobank, BMO Financial Group, and TD Bank Group, with titles ranging from Assistant Vice President to Senior Analyst. Omer holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Windsor, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Western University.
