Joo Sik Son

Joo Sik Son currently serves as the AI Agent Workforce Manager and Software Engineer at Sendbird, beginning in August 2023, with a focus on SRE Platform development. Previously, Joo Sik Son worked at NAVER Corp from August 2017 to August 2023 as a Software Engineer, where responsibilities included building and operating a global-scale, high-capacity time-series database platform based on the open-source VictoriaMetrics, which handles millions to billions of time-series data in real-time. Prior to that, Joo Sik Son was a Software Engineer at TmaxData from February 2016 to August 2017, contributing to the development of RDBMS products and working on query compilers and executors, particularly in JOIN and GROUP BY algorithms. Joo Sik Son holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (2014-2016) and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from Kyungpook National University (2006-2013).
