Mani Babu

Mani Babu is an accomplished data science professional currently serving as the Lead Data Scientist at Diameter Pay since January 2023, focusing on advanced machine learning solutions for financial crime detection and developing time-series ML models for currency exchange rate volatility. Prior experience includes a tenure at HSBC from May 2016 to May 2022 as Senior Assistant Vice President, where a suite of machine learning models for financial crime detection was designed and a team of data scientists and engineers was managed. Previous positions include developing transaction monitoring systems at HSBC as Assistant Vice President and Assistant Manager, managing ad campaigns and machine learning models at Tailorman, and conducting campaign and churn analysis at LatentView. Educational qualifications include a B.E (Hons) in Chemical Engineering and an M.Sc (Hons) in Economics, both from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
