Jeehyang Leung has a diverse and extensive work experience history. In their most recent role as the Global Head of Brand and Product Marketing at Sendwave, they are responsible for overseeing brand and product marketing on an international scale. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Brand and Product Marketing at Udacity, where they led efforts to refresh the brand positioning and created strategies for enterprise lead generation.
Before joining Udacity, Leung served as the Head of Marketing and Growth at Brightside, where they set the strategy and executed consumer go-to-market plans that resulted in significant engagement and increased overall savings.
Leung also gained experience at Forward as the Head of Brand Marketing, where they spearheaded growth activities for the launch of a second location and led consumer insights efforts. As the Head of Brand Marketing at NerdWallet, they played a key role in driving the development of the Nerdwallet brand and leading research efforts to identify target consumers and insights.
Leung's career began at Visa, where they served as a Director, leading US social/PR planning for the London Summer Olympics and championing the voice of the consumer in Visa's credit strategy. Jeehyang also had significant experience at Clorox as a Brand Manager and Associate Marketing Manager, overseeing strategic vision and managing sponsorships.
Prior to their corporate roles, Leung worked as an Analyst at McKinsey & Company, advising private equity firms and conducting market analysis. Jeehyang started their career as a Research Assistant at Massachusetts General Hospital, contributing to medical research on blood flow techniques and publishing in medical journals.
Jeehyang Leung holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Yale University, which was obtained between 1992 and 1997. Additionally, they pursued an MBA degree specializing in Marketing and Corporate Strategy from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business from 2003 to 2005.
