Arif Obaid

Arif Obaid is the Founder and CEO of Sust~Net Inc., specializing in hardware prototype development for patented IoT products aimed at sustainable wireless networks since July 2021. In addition, Arif serves as a Professor at Seneca Polytechnic, contributing to the School of SDDS and ITAS within the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering Technology since January 2023. Previous experience includes a role as a Research and Teaching Assistant at Toronto Metropolitan University focused on energy sustainable IoT devices and wireless networks, as well as partnerships at Electric Spin Inc. and ITLOGIC LLC, where Arif was involved in the design and manufacture of notable products such as the GolfPro game simulator. Arif's academic qualifications include a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Toronto Metropolitan University, a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ottawa, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto.
