Emma Gorst

Emma Gorst is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in teaching and curriculum development in English and liberal studies. As a Professor at Seneca Polytechnic since February 2015, Emma has instructed various courses, including academic writing and Canadian literature, while also developing curriculum across multiple learning formats and utilizing Learning Management Systems. Previous positions include roles as an Instructor at the International Centre for EAP and as a University Lecturer at the University of Guelph, where Emma focused on medieval literature and Chaucer. Emma's academic background includes a PhD in Medieval English Literature from the University of Toronto and a diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, supported by a strong record of research and teaching at prestigious institutions such as Yale University.
