Joe Raasch

Joe Raasch currently serves as the Head of Training at PIXOMONDO since January 2022, focusing on learning and sharing knowledge within the industry. As the Visual Effects Program Coordinator and Teacher at Seneca College since 2002, Joe has impacted students while navigating the challenges of the visual effects industry. Prior experience includes a significant tenure as a Visual Effects Artist at Take 5 Productions from October 2012 to December 2021, and various roles as Senior Compositor at Arc Productions and Starz Animation. Joe's early career included positions at CORE Digital Pictures, Hybride Technologies, GVFX, and The Post Group, starting as a Digital Compositor. Educational credentials include a degree in Media Arts from Sheridan College and participation in multiple Unreal Fellowships related to animation, worldbuilding, in-camera VFX, and storytelling.
