Software Quality Architect at Senet

Jason Petruno has a long history of experience in software quality assurance. Jason began their career in 1998 as an SQA Intern at Cabletron Systems. In 2000, they took on the role of SQA Engineer at Enterasys Networks, where they performed packet-, unit-, performance-, stress-, limits-, integration- and system-level qualification of numerous protocols and security features, as well as UI and functional verification of network-device management features. In 2006, they were promoted to Manager QA Automation at Enterasys Networks, where they managed 9 engineers responsible for automated regression service for firmware releases on nearly all shipping hardware products. In 2010, they returned to Enterasys Networks as a Software Quality Engineer, where they spearheaded the conversion of Firmware Automation Test from Linux / Tcl infrastructure to Keyword driven-, Java-based App already used for automated NMS testing. In 2013, they moved to Extreme Networks as a SCM Manager/Senior Quality Assurance Engineer. Finally, in 2015, they joined Senet as a Software Quality Architect, qualifying key architectural components of Senet’s LoRaWAN network, including devices, gateways and cloud-based applications for both the network's management and customer portals.

Jason Petruno graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Mathematics.
