Errol currently serves as the Data Management Lead at Senex Energy, where they foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and ensures the quality and security of digital assets. Prior to this, Errol worked as a Senior Consultant at Cognizant Servian and as a Business Intelligence Consultant at GLASS, where they contributed to data warehousing projects and utilized technologies such as Azure Synapse and Power BI. Errol also has experience as the Chief Executive Officer of SSS World Corp., focusing on luxury streetwear and resort wear markets. Errol's previous roles include positions at Betbull, Ladbrokes Australia, CQUniversity, Oakton, Blue Care, and the University of California at Irvine, where they held responsibilities ranging from data science and BI consulting to lecturing on electronic commerce.
Errol Smythe completed a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD (coursework component) in Business Strategy, Information Systems, and Organisational Behaviour at The University of British Columbia. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Information Systems in Computer Systems Analysis from The University of Queensland. Errol's education journey began with a Bachelor of Commerce focusing on Accounting and Finance, also from The University of Queensland.
