Robert Diaz has over 20 years of work experience in the scientific research field. Robert is currently the Director of Clinical Operations at SEngine Precision Medicine since August 2015. Prior to that, they worked at Amgen as an Associate Scientist from January 2010 to December 2014, where they conducted small molecule screens, RNAi studies, and binding studies related to IL-17A pathway genes. From September 2006 to October 2009, they worked as a Research Biologist at Rosetta Inpharmatics/Merck, focusing on developing microRNA-based therapeutics and conducting various experiments related to gene expression profiling and drug enhancer studies. Before that, they worked as a Research Specialist at Rockefeller University from July 2003 to July 2006, where they conducted research on chromatin biology and the regulation of histones. Robert'swork involved purification of histones, analysis using western blot and MALDI-TOF, and studying the role of histone modifications in apoptosis. Robert'scareer started at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, where they worked as a Research Technician from July 1998 to June 2003, focusing on meiotic recombination and the study of Spo11 protein. Robert Diaz obtained a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology from Washington University in St. Louis. Robert attended the university from 1994 to 1998. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Biotechnology from Columbia University, where they studied from 2001 to 2003.
