Deborah Howard

Deborah Howard serves as the CEO of Senior Living Smart since July 2013, leveraging extensive experience in senior living marketing. Previously, Deborah held the position of Vice President of Sales at Maplewood Senior Living, where the focus was on establishing sales systems and a robust sales culture during the company's growth phase. Deborah also served as Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Five Star Quality Care, overseeing strategies and executions for a significant network of communities across multiple states, with accomplishments including the acquisition of 50 communities. Prior roles include Divisional VP of Sales & Marketing at Emeritus, managing sales results for numerous communities, and Regional Director of Sales & Marketing at Benchmark Assisted Living, driving occupancy growth in Connecticut. Deborah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Emory University and a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Simmons University.
