Andrew Spain

Andrew Spain has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Andrew currently works as a Senior Project Engineer at Senior Metal Bellows since July 2020. Prior to this, from April 2018 to July 2020, they served as a Senior R&D Tooling Design Engineer at Getinge. Andrew also worked at Atrium Medical for nearly a decade, where they held the role of Finite Element Analyst from May 2009 to April 2018. Before that, they worked at Freudenberg-NOK, starting as a Product Engineer in September 1996 and later transitioning to a Senior FEA Engineer from October 2003 to May 2009. Andrew's early career included serving in the United States Army Reserve as a Specialist for eight years, from June 1991 to June 1999.

Andrew Spain received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire, where they attended from 1993 to 1996. Before that, they briefly attended the University of Maine in 1991 and 1992, although it is not specified if they completed a degree or field of study at that institution. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the "Microsoft Teams Quick Tips" certification from LinkedIn in June 2020, as well as the "SOLIDWORKS: Weldments" certification in the same month and year. In February 2019, they became a Certified Solidworks Professional through DS SolidWorks Corporation.
