Jerry Tretwold

Director of Physical Plant & Special Projects at Senior Services of America

Mr. Tretwold graduated from Everett High School and began his 4 year tenure in the US Naval Air Reserve; active duty in Japan for 2 years and inactive duty for 2 years at the Naval Base in Everett, WA. Mr. Tretwold owned and operated a volunteer ambulance company in Brewster, WA for 25 years. He became a certified Washington State Senior EMT instructor, IV certified, which made it possible for him to offer classes to train each of his EMT’s to become Washington State certified.Mr. Tretwold continued his interests in the medical field by becoming a Mortuary Apprentice Embalmer and served as the Okanogan County Deputy Coroner for 28 years.

Jerry has been involved in the Healthcare field since 1969 as a Skilled Nursing Facility owner and administrator. Mr. Tretwold is an active member of the Washington Health Care Association holding numerous leadership positions: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasure, Board of Directors, Political Action Chairman, and Public Relations.Mr. Tretwold has been an active Washington State Registered Lobbyist for Healthcare issues since 1994. He enjoys working closely with Washington State Legislators, Senators and meeting with Washington State Congresswoman in Washington D.C. Mr. Tretwold retired from his Skilled Nursing Facility owner/administrative duties in 2017 and later that year became the Operations Advisor for Senior Services of America.
