Dr. Josef Schenker has a varied work experience in the medical field. Josef started working as the Medical Director at SeniorCare Emergency Medical Services in 2006. Josef also served as the Medical Director and Partner at Centers Urgent Care starting in 2015. In addition, they held the position of Medical Director/Attending Physician at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital since 2006. Dr. Schenker worked as the Chief Medical Officer at Medical Director Services PC starting in 2008. Josef also served as the Chairman of the NYC REMAC at Regional Emergency Medical Services Inc from 2012 onwards. From 2016 to 2017, Dr. Schenker held the position of Chief Medical Officer at Centers Health Care.
Josef Schenker, MD, MBA completed their Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from Yeshiva University in 1996. Josef then pursued their Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, graduating in 2002. In 2017, they enrolled at the Isenberg School of Management, UMass Amherst, where they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Medical Management in February 2021.
In addition to their educational qualifications, Josef Schenker, MD, MBA has also achieved certifications in various fields. Josef became Board Certified in Emergency Medical Services by the American Board of Emergency Medicine in December 2013. Prior to that, they obtained Board Certification in Emergency Medicine in June 2011.
