Barbara Jeremiah

Barbara is Chair Designate and Senior Independent Director of The Weir Group PLC, having been appointed to the Board of The Weir Group PLC on 1 August 2017.

She had previously worked for over 30 years with Alcoa Inc, in a number of positions including Executive Vice President, Corporate Development and Chairman’s Counsel. She was formerly Chairwoman of Boart Longyear Limited, a leading provider of drilling services and equipment, and was a non-executive Director of Aggreko plc, Premier Oil plc and Russel Metals Inc.

Barbara holds a BA in Political Science and is a qualified lawyer.
