Hakan Harman

Hakan Harman serves as the Chief Operating Officer at the Art Gallery of NSW, an institution focused on the collection, preservation, and exhibition of Australian and international art since October 2018. Additionally, Hakan holds the position of Non Executive Chairman at Seniors Rights Service since December 2021 and previously served as Chief Executive Officer at Multicultural NSW from January 2014 to October 2018, promoting cultural diversity and community harmony. Previous roles include Director of Operations and CFO at the State Library of NSW and Director of Operations and CFO at the Community Relations Commission, where responsibilities included corporate services and language service delivery. Hakan began their career as a Group Financial Accountant at Unilever and progressed to CFO roles at Trackmedia and Senior Forensic Accountant at Evidex. Hakan possesses a Master of Public Administration in Change Management from the University of Sydney and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Western Sydney University, alongside being a Fellow of CPA Australia.
