David Malicoat

David Malicoat is a seasoned professional in networking solutions with over three decades of experience in advanced technology and system architecture. Currently serving as Principal Consultant at Malicoat Networking Solutions since October 2016, David also actively participates as a voting member in the IEEE 802.3 Working Group. Previous roles include Advanced Technology Expert at Senko Advanced Components and distinguished architect positions at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where the focus was on data center switch architectures and the integration of electrical and optical interfaces. David's career began at HP as a lead engineer, contributing significantly to the design of PA-RISC servers. David holds a BSEE in Electrical/Computer Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
