Ronny Timmreck

Ronny Timmreck has a diverse work experience, displaying a strong background in entrepreneurship and leadership roles. Ronny is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of deepXscan, a position they began in April 2023. Alongside this, they also hold the role of Chairman of the Board at Sixonia Tech GmbH, starting from March 2023.

In addition to their executive roles, Ronny Timmreck acts as a Mentor at German Accelerator, providing coaching expertise to German startups and founders, with a particular focus on hardware deep tech startups. Ronny'smentoring responsibilities include assisting with product-market fit, scaling strategies, and fundraising. Ronny embarked on this role in March 2023.

Ronny Timmreck's entrepreneurial journey started in May 2017 when they founded Bahama Invest & Consult, where they assumed the position of Founder and CEO.

Collaborating with Senorics, Ronny Timmreck made significant strides in transforming a disruptive technology from a university lab into a tangible product with customer benefits. During their tenure as CEO from June 2017 to October 2022, they successfully raised €12 million in funding and established a proficient team of 40 technological and business specialists.

Prior to their experience with Bahama Invest & Consult and Senorics, Ronny Timmreck played a pivotal role in another successful startup, leXsolar GmbH. After co-founding the company in July 2003, they served as the CEO until March 2019. Ronny later transitioned into the role of Co-Founder and Advisor.

Ronny Timmreck's involvement in research and academia is evident through their former positions at Dresden Integrated Center for Applied Physics and Photonic Materials (IAPP) as a Group Leader from December 2015 to March 2019 and at Institut für Angewandte Photophysik (IAPP) - TU Dresden as a Research Assistant from February 2008 to August 2013.

Furthermore, they held the position of Director at leXsolar Asia Sdn Bhd from August 2012 to September 2015.

Ronny Timmreck obtained their Diplom in Physik from Technische Universität Dresden, starting in 1999 and finishing in 2007. Ronny subsequently pursued further education at the same university, obtaining a Dr. rer. nat. degree by 2015. However, no specific field of study is mentioned for their doctoral degree.
