Richard Powers

Richard Powers has extensive experience in the technology industry, with a focus on IoT and clean-tech solutions. Richard is currently a Co-Founder at Sensar Inc, where they work on projects involving telehealth integration and automotive safety integration. Prior to this, they were a Principal at PURE Research and Development, specializing in technology consulting and development. Richard also co-founded WeatherCloud Inc, where they served as the CTO and worked on combining sensor data with modeling and analytics to predict road weather conditions. Richard has also worked at Vestas as a Specialist, focusing on plant control optimization, and co-founded RavenBrick LLC, a nano-technology company. Earlier in their career, Richard served as the Chief Scientist at The Programmable Matter Corporation.

Richard Powers obtained a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, where they studied from 2000 to 2007. Prior to this, they earned an M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the same institution, attending from 1990 to 1991.
