Bridget King is an experienced educator currently serving as a Title 1 Reading Interventionist and ENL Adult Teacher at M S D Wayne Township School District since October 2021 and SENSE Charter School since July 2019, respectively. Previously, Bridget held various teaching roles, including ENL Adult Teacher at LTC Language Solutions from August 2013 to June 2021, First Grade Teacher at MSD of Lawrence Township from July 2017 to July 2019, and Kindergarten Teacher at Indianapolis Public Schools from September 2013 to July 2017. Early in the career, Bridget taught English grammar, reading, science, and math to Honduran ESL students at Olancho Aid Foundation, Inc. and prepared lessons in Math, Science, and English for grades 1-3 at Epico Jahns Academy. Bridget holds an ENL License from Butler University and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Indiana University Bloomington.

SENSE was founded in 2003 as a K-3 school with the purpose of providing educational options for families living on the southeast side of Indianapolis. A lot has changed over the past 18 years, but the vision and passion of the school has remained the same. Today, SENSE serves over 600 students ranging from Kindergarten through 8th grade. The school is dedicated to providing the best education possible for our kids through hands-on instruction, multi-disciplinary learning, highly qualified teachers, and structured after school programming, including award winning sports, robotics, Glee Club, tutoring, and various art clubs. At SENSE, we believe the arts are important in helping spark out students' curiosity and creativity. We think healthy minds mean healthier students. While some schools have moved arts, music, physical education, and STEM to the edges of their school experience, we embrace them at SENSE.
