Karen Gernert

Karen Gernert is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and coaching. Currently serving as a 2nd and 4th Grade Teacher at SENSE Charter School since July 2020, Karen previously worked as a Permanent Building Substitute Teacher at Hamilton Southeastern Schools. Earlier experience includes roles as a Substitute Teacher with Kelly Educational Staffing and various coaching positions with the Fishers Area Swimming Tigers and Indy Aquatic Masters, Inc. Karen's educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Early Childhood Education from Ohio University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Karen also holds a Teaching License in Elementary Education from Indiana Teachers of Tomorrow.
