Jimmy Li has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Jimmy began their career in 2008 at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, where they worked in the food service department until 2012. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Concierge Security at Allied Barton, responsible for maintaining the organization of the garage and monitoring security footage. Jimmy then transitioned into the technology field, starting as a QA Support Analyst at enLabel Global Services from 2013 to 2016. In this role, they created and executed product and system test plans and coordinated validation activities. Jimmy then joined Santander Bank, N.A. as a QA UAT Analyst from 2016 to 2018, participating in the Agile development environment and ensuring all defects were fixed before final delivery. Most recently, Jimmy worked at Wayfair as a Software QA Analyst from 2018 to 2022. In this role, they collaborated with development engineers, performed testing, refined QA processes, documented defects, and automated test suites. Currently, Jimmy is working as a QA Engineer at Sense starting in 2023.
Jimmy Li attended UMass Boston from 2008 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections. In addition to their formal education, Jimmy has also obtained several certifications, including "JavaScript: Patterns," "Programming Foundations: Design Patterns," "Software Testing: Planning Tests for Mobile," "JavaScript Essential Training," "Getting Started as a Full-Stack Web Developer," "Learning TypeScript," "TypeScript: Object-Oriented Programming," and "Programming Foundations: Object-Oriented Design." These certifications were obtained from LinkedIn, with the most recent certification obtained in August 2022.
