Philip Middleton is an experienced professional in programme funding management, currently serving as Senior Programme Funding Manager at Sense International since December 2009. In this role, Philip manages grants and partnerships with government and institutional funders to support the rights of individuals with deafblindness and multi-sensory impairments across various regions, including Europe, East Africa, South Asia, and South America. Prior to this position, Philip worked at the Aga Khan Foundation UK from January 2004 to December 2009, holding roles as Programme Officer, Policy Officer, and Policy Intern, where responsibilities included managing funding partnerships for the Aga Khan Development Network in Africa and Asia. Philip holds a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in International Development from the Institute of Development Studies and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Geography from Royal Holloway, University of London.
