Wendy Hawk

Wendy Hawk is an accomplished fundraising and communications professional with extensive experience in the nonprofit sector. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Fundraising and Communications at Sense International, Wendy leads income generation efforts across eight countries while advocating for social change for individuals with deafblindness. Previously, as the Head of Fundraising and Communications at Women in Sport, Wendy promoted inclusion and equality in women's sports. Other notable positions include Acting CEO at Canal & River Trust, where Wendy developed corporate partnerships, and Head of Fundraising at Catch22, overseeing strategic fundraising initiatives during a merger. Wendy also held roles at Crisis and NSPCC, focusing on corporate fundraising strategies and partnership development. Wendy holds a BA Hons in Communications and Media Studies from the University of Kent at Canterbury.
