Bernard Kaufhold

Bernard Kaufhold's work experience includes a range of leadership roles in various companies and industries. Bernard has served as the Chief Financial Officer at Sense Worldwide, a co-creation consultancy in London. Bernard was also a Director at Pearlstone Energy Limited, a tech start-up providing power supply flexibility services. Additionally, Bernard has held positions on the Advisory Board at POWER-GEN Europe and Renewable Energy World Europe, and as a Non-Executive Director at Pure Science Limited and the BRITISH HYDROPOWER ASSOCIATION. Bernard founded the Re-imagine Group and has also worked as the Corporate Development Director at Cory Environmental and the Finance and Investments Director at Bilfinger Asset Management. Prior to that, they were a Partner at Europa Partners LLP and an Investment Director at Aquila Energy Finance and Trading Limited. Bernard has extensive experience in the energy and utilities sectors, as well as in finance and investments.

Bernard Kaufhold holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics from the University of New South Wales (UNSW). Bernard also completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Bath. In addition to their academic qualifications, Bernard has obtained certifications including Yachtmaster Ocean from the Royal Yachting Association (RYA), Royal Ocean Racing Club from the ROLEX FASTNET 2015 event, and completed a Trans Atlantic journey from La Rochelle (France) to St Thomas (US Virgin Islands) in 2020.
