Umesh Solanki

Umesh Solanki possesses extensive experience in agriculture and horticulture, currently serving as an Assistant Grower at Sensei Ag since May 2022. Prior to this role, Umesh served as a Mentor to a Masters of Environmental Science student at the University of Guelph's Ontario Agricultural College and held positions at Lakeside Produce, where Umesh progressed from Junior Grower to Management Trainee, managing a 25-acre Hi-Tech Vegetable Greenhouse. Umesh's background includes significant experience as an Organic Farm Manager at Pfenning's Organic Vegetables, overseeing a 700-acre certified organic vegetable operation, and as Assistant Manager - Horticulture at Essar Oil, managing a large mango orchard and landscapes. Umesh's career began as an Agronomist cum Internal Organic Inspector at Emerald Aqua Pvt Ltd. Umesh is well-educated, holding a Post-Graduate Diploma in Sustainable Agriculture from Fleming College and a Bachelor of Science in Agronomy from Junagadh Agricultural University.
