Lead Quality Automation Engineer at Sensei Labs

Marcelo Tanisho has worked in the software engineering industry since 2007. Marcelo began their career as a Test Analyst at HP, where they were responsible for developing test cases and executing them, as well as coordinating the test team and automation. Marcelo also served as a System Analyst, providing customer support for a telecomunication company project. In 2015, they joined CI&T as a Software Engineer, where they were responsible for the quality of the system, including grooming, planning, scheduling, writing test cases, executing test cases, and RCA. Marcelo also implemented test automation on a Canadian/American Gas Transportation company project. In 2017, they moved to Serasa Experian as a Test Delivery Lead, where they were responsible for software quality, test factory hiring and management, and test execution and design. Most recently, they joined Sensei Labs in 2019, where they are currently the Lead Quality Automation Engineer. In this role, they are responsible for running, maintenance, and development of new UI automated tests, as well as maintenance and development of the UI engine and other test automation solutions. Marcelo uses tools such as C#, Visual Studio, Selenium, SQL Server Management Studio, Azure, TestRails, and Jira.

Marcelo Tanisho obtained a Bachelor of Engineering - BE in Computer Engineering from UNIARA between 2005 and 2009. In 2021, they were awarded the Verified International Academic Qualifications from World Education Services. In 2019, they received the Certified Tester Foundation Level - CTFL from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board, the Devops Essencials Professional Certificate (DEPC) from CertiProf\u00ae, and the Scrum Foundation Professional Certificate (SFPC) from CertiProf\u00ae.
