Aneta Modzelewska Ph.d.

Director, Regulatory Sciences at Senseonics

Aneta Modzelewska Ph.D., RAC has extensive work experience in regulatory sciences and scientific research. Aneta worked for Senseonics, Incorporated from 2011 to present, starting as a Principal Scientist before moving up to roles such as Principal, Regulatory Sciences and Manager, Regulatory Sciences. In these roles, they led and executed regulatory submissions in the US and EU, managed cross-functional teams, and prepared for FDA Advisory Committee Meetings. Prior to their time at Senseonics, they worked at Sensors for Medicine and Science, Inc. as a Scientist II and Scientist I, where they designed and managed studies, optimized manufacturing processes, and synthesized various molecules. Aneta also worked at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Oncology Department, where they designed and synthesized novel inhibitors and tested their potency against cancer cell lines. Dr. Modzelewska's work experience showcases their expertise in regulatory sciences and scientific research.

Aneta Modzelewska Ph.D., RAC has a strong educational background in Organic Chemistry. Aneta obtained their M.Sc. degree in Organic Chemistry from the Uniwersytet im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu in Poland, where they studied from 1993 to 1998. Aneta further pursued their education and earned a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the same institution between 1998 and 2003. Aneta also expanded their expertise in the field of Fluoroorganic Chemistry through a program at the University of Florida in 2001.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Aneta has attained several certifications and professional development courses. Aneta became a member of the Regulatory Affairs Certification Program (RAPS) in 2015. Later, they completed the RAPS Medical Device Certification Program in 2021 and acquired Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) in Devices from the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS) in 2022. Aneta has also undertaken courses such as "Decision-Making in High-Stress Situations" and "Executive Presence on Video Conference Calls" on LinkedIn.
