Vallikannu Somasundaram

Vallikannu Somasundaram has a wealth of experience in quality sciences and technical project management. Vallikannu has worked at several reputable companies, including Senseonics, Incorporated, where they started as a Senior Software Quality Engineer in November 2013 and eventually rose to the position of Director, Quality Sciences in December 2019. Prior to Senseonics, they served as a Technical Project Lead at Sigma International General Medical Apparatus, LLC from September 2012 to September 2013. Before that, they were a Technical Lead at HCL America Inc. from June 2006 to September 2013. Additionally, Vallikannu worked at Baxter International Inc. as a Technical Project Lead from January 2009 to August 2012. Vallikannu began their career at Ethicon, Inc. as a Member Technical Staff in June 2006 and later became an Embedded Software Consultant from June 2007 to December 2008.

Vallikannu Somasundaram obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from Annamalai University in the years 2008-2010. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the same university between 2002-2006. Additionally, they have acquired various certifications in areas such as Computer System Validation, ISO 14971 Medical Device Risk Management, MasterControl Documents, Training, Audit and Process Modules, Software Verification and Validation Requirements, Understanding on ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820 Requirements, and euMDR.
