Sensequake
Tianzheng Lu is a vibration specialist and R&D developer at Sensequake. Tianzheng developed Operational Modal Analysis (OMA) algorithms for cloud applications in Python. Tianzheng implemented and reviewed long-term Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) and seismic activity monitoring algorithms. Additionally, Tianzheng performs structural dynamics (modal) Finite Element (FEA) simulations as the benchmark for OMA analysis. In the past, Tianzheng worked as a PhD researcher at McGill University, focusing on Nonsmooth Modal Analysis via Boundary Element Method. Tianzheng also has experience as a Dispatching and Hotline assistant at KUKA Robotics and as a Computer Applications II Teaching Assistant at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. Tianzheng holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
Sensequake
Sensequake is making cities safer and smarter by revolutionizing how engineers assess the integrity and natural hazard vulnerability of structures.Instead of visual inspection and traditional engineering practices, sensequake patented technology performs structural health monitoring and seismic assessment solely based on actual data fromhighly sensitive vibration sensors—saving engineers time, effort and money—all the while providing superior results. To provide a turnkey solution to engineers, governments, insurance firms and real-estate industry, sensequake develops software, sensors and offers professional services based on its proprietary technologies.
