Claudia Papathanasopoulou Foka has a diverse work experience in various roles. Starting in 2009, they worked as a Collection Digitization Coordinator at the Welfare Foundation for Social and Cultural Affairs (KIKPE), where they were responsible for digitizing and cataloguing the Vassilis Photiadis Archive. During their tenure, they assisted in developing planning, technical, and workflow development for the digitization phase. Claudia also ensured the compliance of digital content with procedure and quality requirements and developed in-house digitization capacity. Additionally, they liaised with external partners and cultural institutions.
In 2015, Claudia joined Telecom ParisTech as an Associate Design Researcher in the Co-Design & Media Studies Lab. Claudia worked in this role until 2016 and contributed to research and design projects.
Since 2017, Claudia has been working at Sensewaves as a Digital Project Manager, with no specified end date.
Claudia Papathanasopoulou Foka obtained a Bachelor's Degree in History of Art from The American College of Greece from 1999 to 2003. From 2003 to 2005, they pursued an MA in History of Art: Modernism and Subjectivities at UCL, with a focus on Digital Humanities. Lastly, from 2014 to 2016, they attended Télécom Paris where they earned their MA in Création et Production Multimédia.
