Senior Research and Data Scientist at Senseye

Veronica Choi, Ph.D. has worked in various research and data science roles since 2011. Veronica began their career as a Research Technician/Manager at the University of Pittsburgh, where they managed the lab and conducted research on the mechanism behind tinnitus (phantom hearing). Veronica then moved on to The University of Texas at Austin in 2013, where they served as a Post Doctorate Fellow and Graduate Research Assistant. Her research focused on studying the underlying mechanism behind binocular integration during 3D motion moving in depth. Veronica used in vivo electrophysiology, eye tracking, 2-photon imaging, as well as behavior analysis to conduct their research. In 2019, they joined Senseye, Inc. as a Senior Research and Data Scientist, followed by roles as a Research Data Scientist III and Research Scientist III.

Veronica Choi, Ph.D. earned their Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from the University of Pittsburgh in 2011. Veronica then went on to earn their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Neuroscience from The University of Texas at Austin in 2019. Additionally, Veronica has obtained certifications from the CITI Program in Group 1. BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH and Group 3 Good Clinical Practice and ICH (GCP) in October 2022.
