Henry Torres

Henry Torres is a highly experienced Software Solution Architect at Sensia Global since January 2020, where responsibilities include leading technical design and implementation for cloud and on-prem solutions in oil field operations. Significant achievements include designing a cloud-based architecture for Avocet®, utilized by over 300 companies worldwide, and transitioning Avocet to a microservices framework using advanced technologies. Prior to Sensia Global, Henry served as the Avocet Deployment Technical Lead at Schlumberger from 2017 to 2019, overseeing the development of oil production data solutions and implementing key features such as a well production calibration module and real-time data integration. Henry began at Schlumberger in 2008 as a Senior Software Engineer and progressed through roles including Software Engineer, contributing to the development and deployment of numerous software solutions with a focus on customization and customer interaction. Henry holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Colombia.
