Grunde Waag

Grunde Waag has worked in a variety of roles in the engineering and research fields. In 2006, they began as a Geophysicist at emgs. Grunde then moved to Det Norske Veritas in 2008, where they worked as a Scientist with a focus on acoustics, software development in Matlab, and simulation in Comsol. Grunde then left DNV in 2012 to become a Senior Engineer at HalfWave AS, a company which was separated from DNV. In 2010, they became a PhD-student at Høgskolen i Buskerud og Vestfold (HBV). In 2015, they began working as an Engineer at Kratos Defense and Security Solutions. Most recently, in 2021, they began working as an R&D Ultrasound Engineer at dolphitech, and they are currently employed as an Engineer at sensiBel.

Grunde Waag obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Physics from the University of Oslo (UiO) between 1999 and 2006. Grunde also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 2001 and 2003.
