Thor Christian Hobæk

Thor Christian Hobæk has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. Thor Christian's work experience began with a summer internship at INEOS ChlorVinyls in 2008, followed by another summer internship at the Ugelstad Laboratory at NTNU in 2009. In 2011, they took on the role of Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Micro- and Nanotechnology at the Technical University of Denmark. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as an R&D Engineer at Inmold A/S. Thor Christian then moved to GasSecure where they held the roles of Senior Technology Manager and R&D Engineer from 2016 to 2021. Most recently, they have been working as a Senior Development Engineer at sensiBel since 2021.

Thor Christian Hobæk obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Nanotechnology from DTU - Technical University of Denmark between 2011 and 2014. Prior to that, they obtained an M.Sc./Sivilingeniør in Nanotechnology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 2006 and 2011. Thor Christian also completed exchange programs in Nanotechnology at DTU - Technical University of Denmark in 2010 and in Bioengineering at the University of California, Berkeley in 2009.
